Students love searching for those hidden sight words. I love to see the children play together as they are practicing and working on sight words.Īnother fun sight word game that is my students’ favorite is our Sight Word Word Search. I place out a set for fast finisher activities. This game is one of my students’ favorite activities we have in our classroom. As students get matches, they set the cards down and read the word. Students laugh and giggle as the old maid card gets passed around. An easy, but super fun sight word game is Sight Word Old Maid. I have multiple board games available in my classroom with different themes to keep students engaged in these fun sight word games. Just type in the six words you want your students to focus on, print, and put in a sheet protector or laminate. These are great because they are also low prep for teachers. The word they land on, they have to read. Have them roll a dice and move their piece. They know how to play them with little instruction.
